I don’t personally have much experience with legal matters.  Should I be concerned about appearing UNDER-INFORMED or less knowledgeable when communicating with an attorney?

  • Using generic online documents or services could easily cost you more money than working directly with an experienced attorney to craft a document for your needs. 
CAN’T I JUST FIND A REPUTABLE ATTORNEY BY USING ONLINE DIRECTORIES OR PUBLICATIONS CONTAINING “THE BEST”, “SUPER” OR “EXCLUSIVE” LISTINGS OF LAWYERS OR LAW FIRMS?  DON’T ENDORSEMENTS OR WEBSITE BADGES RECOGNIZING A LAWYER AS “BEST” OR “SUPER” MEAN THAT THE ATTORNEY OR FIRM IS MORE QUALIFIED THAN OTHERS?
Website endorsements or online directories purporting to acknowledge or list the “best” or “super” attorneys are nothing more than paid advertising.  “Best” or” super” rankings or titles are not awarded by objective nonprofit organizations, bar associations, legal professional trade organizations or government law licensing institutions.
ARE LISTINGS ON ANY WEBSITE OR IN ANY DIRECTORY AUTHORIZED TO REFER CLIENTS TO STIMLER LAW OFFICES?  DOES ANY OTHER COMPANY REPRESENT THE ATTORNEYS OF STIMLER LAW OFFICES OR ACT AS AN AGENT ON THEIR BEHALF?

Yes, the only official website for Stimler Law Offices is www.stimlerlawoffices.com.  Stimler Law Offices also engages in social media via LinkedIn and is listed with established search engines like Google.  Listings from the Supreme Court of Ohio and the Akron or Ohio State Bar Associations are also legitimate listings for Stimler Law Offices.
  
No, other internet directory listings or “find a lawyer” type websites that appear to direct you to Stimler Law Offices are unauthorized, and purposefully misrepresent a relationship with Stimler Law Offices to confuse potential clients and others.  Do not attempt to contact the attorneys of Stimler Law Offices through any means other than the contact information listed on this website.  Do not issue payment or funds of any kind for the legal services provided by Stimler Law Offices to anyone other than James T. Stimler, Esq. directly.  Do not submit confidential information to websites/companies that appear to, but do not actually, connect a user with a lawyer/law firm.
