Important Announcement: Retirement and Law Practice Closing
Dear Clients, Colleagues, and Friends, After over 48 years of practicing law, I am announcing my Retirement, effective June 22, 2026, and the final Closure of Stimler Law Offices, effective August 1, 2026. Attorney Kathleen E. Stimler, Of Counsel, is also retired from the practice of law. Serving this community and our clients has been a privilege, and we are deeply grateful for the trust and loyalty you have placed in us over the years. Important Notes Regarding Client Files and Records
Client Files-Original Documents: As you know, it is my custom and practice to return all hard copy original documents to the client at the conclusion of a legal project and to provide clients with copies of all material electronic files during the course of my representation of them on a legal matter. I have personally checked, or will personally check in the near future, your hard copy Client File, if one currently exists, and I will send you directly at the latest address I have for you all of your Original Hard Copy documents found in your Client File, if any.
Requesting Electronic Copies of Finalized Documents from Your File: If you want to obtain copies of finalized electronic or digital documents from the Stimler Law Office, please submit a written request identifying those documents to the Correspond page on the Stimler Law Office’s website no later than September 22, 2026.After that date, those finalized electronic or digital documents may, or may not, be available depending upon storage protocols, availability and the existence of continued computer access to them. Note further that the law office’s business communications methodsand this Website will be permanently discontinued on or about December 1, 2026.
